First all, Capcom if your reading this, Hats off to you guys. You just kicked UBI and every other retarded dev that' can't port a game if their lives depended on it. You gave us proper PC customization to tweak it to our hardware.

My complaints.

The controls are still a little...wobbly and not so spruced up but being a demo, I'm sure theres time to work on it. The game pad support makes me happy but it's very loose and seems like it could use some attention especially with no way of changing the config.  I found it rather annoying when walking up to one of the probes and it was telling me to quickly tap B button of the 360 controller even though I was using the keyboard. IT would have been really neat if they did the key config teh way they did it in spiderman 3. made it feel less console like and forced on what platform it is. You so much push a keybutton all the key menu help and everything else in game would be keyboard+ mouse orientated. if you moved a joystick or pushed a button on the gamepad, it would swtich everything over likewise. was VERY neat.

GFX are superb. The smoke effects, blurr effects, the fire, explosions are YAY!!! and even better it's got the gameplay to back it up. But it does seem to need to be optimized a little better on the DX9 end. I'm on a decently high built around a dual core and a 7900GS KO and 2x1024 and can run it good around 30FPS on the 2nd level but on the level where it's snowing..I get raped. But I do like how you offer us all the toys of buttons and sliders and options for GFX, but still needs optimizing. What happend to widescreen btw. I had no option for 1440x900 :( Quite saddening.

Wall in all I give you guys a 7.5/10 but hey..it's only a demo so far. I just REALLY hope you guys are paying attention to your fans and community. I'd give it a 10 seriously but the fact it's a bit unoptimized (I hear DX10 is a nightmare) and the controls aren't as good as they could but again...it's a demo. Hope to see an improvement guys and again....Great job :)

What settings? I'm sure if you turn down shadows your FPS will go up a bit.

What are the rest of your specs (especially your CPU?). That's really low if it's in line with your  card (like low enough it's got to be a wrong driver issue).

Do not turn shadow quality to "high", leave it on medium. Download the forceware 158.42 betas from Nvidia website, they're listed in the patchnotes to increase performance in Lost Planet, and it runs fabulous for me, 50fps average on both benchmarks.
