... TRAINING FACILITY / TEAM ELIMINATION. Why the heck are 99% of the very few online matches in LPEC always hosted on this silly map? There are so much more interesting maps included in this game. Training Facility is in my opinion a stupid jump and run map while other maps offer much more tactics, sneak & hide elements and nicer grapics, surrondings, atmosphere. Please - dear hosts - be more creative and why not trying out a different play mode as well? There is more than Team Elimination.

ok point 1, no there arnt alot of matches in the training facility unless theyre rocket launchers, i do not even look at those i use the filter and search for rifle only games, besides its still kinda fun to stand on top of the steel mesh and rain down hell below to the people hiding from VSes, point 2, team elimination is the most simple type of game, its very balenced and you have teams for the noobs who still want to win, AND there is minimal stratagy needed to play it(example:post grab people need to coordinate to grab different posts/all the post at the last second and at the same time)

you can always create one your self or join an other one right. i dont see any problem there. other wice i would pm the host to ask if he could change the locatio once i a while

While reading your reactions I assume that you guys play on the Xbox? At least in the PC version there is 1. no option to filter games 2. not much choice of games at all because of a very small online community; even on a Saturday night you will never find more than 2 available servers; at least this is my experience 3. there is no chat function to communicate with the host or other players, neither voice nor written chat (ok - there are some preconfigured hot keys like: let's go, hold on a sec, nice to meet you ... but that's it)

i think its a popular map because lots of people like rocket launcher matches and that is a perfect map for that and because there really isn't a place to hide. so you don't have to run around finding people or get sniped all the time. i really don't have much of a problem with it but if you are playing with really good players there you will most likely get owned and like i said theres no where to hide so its not like you can snipe or sneak up on them. the key to that map is just finding the weapons first.

hmm and if i get it right your not playing in live right for that would explane why there are so few people online. but yeah i am playing online on the 360 and for the people who play this game online on the PC i advice to play it on live! but still you alwais can host your own game roon right?

|
|
Yeah. I can host. But opening a game like Post Grab on a map other than Training Facility is likely to be doomed... How do you mean playing "live" as a PC user? Can I somehow connect with the Xbox community? You are kidding right?

yes in colonies you can connect to the xbox live community but you also have to pay for live yourself. one of the reasons why im still here playing EC. if you want add me on steam and we can play sometimes. steam id=roofsniper back when i used to play on 360 about when it first came out you can play any game. post grab, elimination, team elimination, fugitive. all of them and all of different maps it used to be lots of fun until the userbase started to die out and when the pc version came out i immediatly jumped over there. pc version is 99% team elimination and 1% elimination. lost planet will never be what it used to be unless they release a sequel.
