This may be controversial, but when I fist played Lost Planet 2, it felt like a futuristic/alien Monster Hunter at my PS3 controller. I feel that CAPCOM has forgotten the spirit of this title when they made Lost Planet 3 and did a bad generic game with low sales.

But that was on what I call the "dark era of CAPCOM", when they made bad games with tons of DLCs. Now CAPCOM seems to have changed (we see World, REmake, DMC, Street Fighter), they are making good quality games with lots of content and having good sales. I think that capcom should try to reboot this series too (if not remaster the GFWL versions of the games). A well made coop campaign Lost Planet with its unique feeling of futuristic and mecha/alien survival monster hunter or Shadow of the Colossus atmosphere could sell pretty good. Never having the numbers of the always well made and long saga that is Monster Hunter, but as DMC and Resident Evil, could experience a renaissance.

I think that players who don't know what Lost Planet is but know what World is would be interested on a project like this, as well as Remnant worked well, for example, a "shooter Dark Souls", they could think about a "shooter Monster Hunter with a more interesting campaign".

I don't know, I'm not even a native english speaker and I've created this account just to say that and leave forever, It feels sad to see good games, good titles being abandoned when they could be jewels.
