YES. This would be awesome - I'd like to try taking down some Akrid in 3D online, as there's not a lot of online games for the 3DS yet. It seems like a great idea. They could even just make it RPG-like instead of the Campaign mode - that would be fun. You could track down and fight Akrid in a sprawling open-world, spreading from the Turbulent Jungle, across the sea and desert, into the Snow Pirates' fortress, and out into space. I know it's a long shot, but if they tied in the online to 360, PS3, or PC, it would help those online communities, as well.

Look up EX Troopers for 3DS, looks pretty cool for a spin off heading to the 3DS. JP only, I think.
