a guy fires a energy sphere at you, and you see it comming a mile away at a sluggishly slow pace... so the most logical thing to do is dive behind cover(empty VS, building, wall, teamate watever) so that the sphere hits the cover and not you, i do this in a game and the sphere hits the cover of course, then i suddenly die from the energy gun shot, after it hits the cover, so my question is WHY?! i dived behind cover, energy shot harmlessly hits it and not me, then i suddenly die for no reason! is there something im missing about the energy gun?

could be lag ether your side or his but if you time it right and roll the second it hits you it wont hert you anyway
