I think this game could have been much better if the boss fight in each mission isn't that frustrating. The speculation I have is this "short" and "shallow" game has to give an impression of a long and enjoyable one, so they made each of the boss fight almost impossible to complete when you have to spend days to finish the whole game. I can't believe that I am now only on mission 7, and it's been 20+ hours of play already. And it is on EASY mode. What makes me more frustrated was reading some reviews saying the game can easily be finished in 7 hours. That's how long it took me to kill the green eye. And the videos don't seem to be as difficult as the game I am playing. I am not a veteran player, but at least I could enjoy and complete other games in hard mode without much struggle, like "world at war". Why is this game so crazy? CAN THIS BE A BUG in my game? Anyone has similar experience finding this game very very frustrating and discouraging?

by the way, it's "colonies" that i'm playing. i checked the gameplay video again, the enemies are so much more easier to defeat (about a minute to beat the crab VS in mission 7, while i'm stuck with it after playing for 2 hours). if mine is on EASY, what would the easier mode??????

im not sure what to tell you. i don't think your game is any different than the other ones. is there anything specific you need help with? i completed the game pretty fast on normal but the best part is the multiplayer. if you feel you are stuck with the campaign how about you go try that out and maybe when you come back you will be able to pass the parts you are stuck on.

Thanks, roofsniper. I am speechless again to know that you could finish the game fast. I have a feeling mine copy may have bugs. I don't expect to complete the game without challenges or being killed. But it seems like there is no way to survive at all. I am on mission 7, the crab VS and all the drones are all over me, no matter how I hide and move around. My VS lasts only for a short while and then I have to fight it on foot. But when I watch a video clip from a game guide, it took and about a minute to complete. What puzzles me is the enemies on that clip are so much more "gentle" and not as aggressive to attack, whereas mine is totally different. If mine is on EASY mode, I can't imagine if there is anything easier. I can simply say this is a very discouraging game for me, and I'm very tired of dying over and over again not able to get even a single chance with all those craziness of the enemies attack and the clumsiness of the character.

yea i was gonna suggest to watch videos. sometimes the smallest change can get you from dying over and over to beating it easily. if u want u can keep watching videos but i think if u started playing it online and came back to it it would be so easy that you would laugh that you ever got stuck there. its been a long time since i have played the single player but at first i struggled at parts until i found out the tricks of beating it. how exactly do you keep dying over and over tho? are there just too many guys that you cant kill or you just keep getting shot at? when i played the game i had to use cover for everything. everything is so damaging that you need to shoot them when they cant get you or run out take some out and then find more cover. if you stay out in the open you are sure to die. dont know what else to say but im sure after a little practice or revising your playing style a bit you should be able to beat it easy.
