While the trailer doesn't show all the possible uses of the Grappling Hook/Thorn, it should give you a pretty good idea of the freedom you have for using it.

The game also takes a few elements from Monster Hunter, such as the harvesting of components to build and upgrade weapons.

In terms of lore, character development, and story, Soul Sacrifice Delta is still better.



Freedom Wars has way more character visual customization options. The grappling takes getting used to, especially since you have to aim it with a reticule like any third-person shooter.

It's still fun, but the human-sized enemies can get REALLY frustrating in single player mode, because they can do a ****-ton of damage if they gang up on you.
