Any chance of LAN support for LP2 PC?

Now this is in no way meant to be rude, but is LAN useful for anything/anyone? isn't it for people connected to the same local network as you? wouldn't it be better to play online? Note: these are not meant to be rude they are legit questions

Oh I see that is useful, I guess I just spaced it, sorry. Me and my brother are not PC Gamers, but we both have a PS3 and we play online together, anyways I guess LAN would be a cheaper medium.

Yeah, I had a blast with 3 way LAN back in the day...Definitely (IMO) better than splitscreen. Which is why I am asking

There is system link for XBOX so probably there will be also LAN for PC, don`t worry. I use LAN every weekend (2xPC and XBOX) playing Colonies. It`s very usefull option.
