Okay guys.

I made this thread just to give hints/tips on how to do well on the new DLC Rush Mode.

Please make sure you give some tips as well.

No trolls please :)

What do I recommend?

-Abilities Critical I(10% chance for Double damage but sacrifices more health when hit and Firepower I(Increases regular damage to 1.2 but sacrifices more health when hit)

-Machine Gun II

-Microphone to communicate with teammates

Explanations for the recommendations-

-Critical I is really important when killing bosses, especially when killing the Gordiant, Experimental weapon and the Akrid X. The point of Rush Mode is to kill the bosses the quickest in order to reach number 1.             Doubling damage is important especially when using the VS Heavy Weapons which can take down probably 1/5 of the boss's health.

-Firepower I is important. Since you cannot always depend on the critical ability to deal damage to your enemies, you deal 20% more damage to your enemies. When combined with the Critical I, you can easily deal a great amount of damage to the boss.

-Machine Gun II, is probably the best choice of weapon when dealing with the Category G's.

By clicking/holding the trigger fire button five times, that is 10 bullets dealt to the enemy. Also since the critical ability has a 10% chance to deal double damage, hopefully  one of the bullets you shot would of dealt double damage. Also since the Firepower ability does an additional 20%, this is the best weapon to take down the boss's. Many of the boss's cannot be approached with a Gun Sword, The Gordiant cant unless you Gun Sword the core but apart from that, it's pretty much useless.

WARNING!!!!!!!!

You WILL lose health very QUICKLY(Critical and firepower negatives). Please make sure YOU remember this. Without the Recovery ability, recovering your health is also a problem!

Data Posts....

Okay about data posts...When you fight the first boss(Gordiant) only activate the first data post or if your battle gauge gets low, activate the others. Activating every single one would waste precious seconds! Remember the objective is to kill the bosses withn the quickest time possible!

PS-I have to go, will edit later!

I've been using Recovery II for so long in campaign that whenever I try out a new ability My harmonizer is slow as crap. It takes like 2000 to Recover me back to full health. Recovery II only takes 300.

This is the closest thread to where I have found what I'm about to say Relevant:

Bosses That Rush Mode is Missing:

  • The Queen
  • The Large Eared Twin Akrid (their name escapes me)
  • Biaz Tenacle
  • The Merged VS's (It's Name Escapes me)
  • Twin Undeep
  • Over G Part 1

Let me know if I forgot any others...

RUSSELL! THANKS AGAIN!! once again your combo worked me and my brother (by ourselves) got 26 minutes and 2 seconds, That puts us at number  53 when they update. But My brother thinks that with your help Russell and One other Really good Unity Member we will be able to cut that time in half, only we are not allowed to add anyone to our friend List, so alas it is but a dream.

EDIT: It's 2:55 MT and I have created a match and am waiting in the lobby. I won't be able to add anyone as a friend, and Our Voice chat will be off all, Unity Members feel Free to join I will start as soon as their are 4 people Bring Firepower and Critical I

Believe me or not, but I had it finished in 19 minutes. There are tricks to shortening the boss levels.

Unfortunately, I don't know what happened, but my score never updated from 24'xx.

Though I don't know if doing it "offline" with a partner has any drawbacks...
