I have been so impressed with this game that I have recently purchased the "Collectors" edition, I am trying to use the Gears characters but can't see them anywhere?
I have played through the game using my standard game disk copy and read somewhere that you needed to complete the game to unlock them, so I have used the Collectors edition disk and done the last section on easy but no joy !!
Any ideas?
Should they be visible in the character selection screen?
Any ideas?

They should be in the character part's section under preset models. You might of not completed the whole game yet if you haven't found the hidden route in episode 1-2. Type up Lost Planet 2 episode 1-2 hidden route on google and click on the first youtube video. If this doesn't help then I don't know because I actually haven't seen any Gears Of Wars characters in Lost Planet 2 myself...

Hi Yeah I have completed the game and done the secret path, I think the problem maybe that I did this with my original normal disc and not the new "collectors" edition disk. I am working through it on Extreme so hopefully when I have completed that level it will unlock for me otherwise I guess the only other way is to delete me game save files and start again. E
