Please warn any member of your game that has a microphone to ever fire the railway gun when this objective appears (Usually when the boss is nearly dead). This is an immediate KO to your train and back to the beginning for everyone in it.
usually I find it more effective when a person uses the osprey and turret on the sides to battle it. When one more hit does appears everyone should go to the back and shoot and throw nades into it's mouth to finish it off.

Erm, from my experiences you absolutly have to finish red eye of with the rail way gun. I used one of the light cannon turrets to wittle his health all the way down, then when the "one more hit" thing came up I quickly was able to drop his health to a sliver, but then he wouldn't die. and I failed.
in the end, sniper always wins...

I used a turret to kill the worm earlier today. Maybe youy just had a glitch or sumthin.

Yeah, usually it's one more hit that you send right down it's throat with the railway gun and you're done. Worst case scenario: Maybe your battle gauge was already low and at least one of your mates fell of the train. Then it's game over, even if you have just beaten the boss.

Same here, but with the Osprey, since usually some Noobs (Sorry for using that word) join my game, hop into the Cannon and are like 'Look, i'm in the Big Gun OBEY ME, bring me Ammo, Repair MY Train, i don't need to get out anymore!' then when Final hit comes up 'What the hell do i need to do, help me !!!???'. So just fly right into the mouth and let loose with the Gatling, since they run around like Headless chicken and won't listen to the guy who knows what to do. :(

It's not a glitch. For some reason when red eye is behind his hitbox is right up the railway gun barrel and if anyone fire, it would kill the train instead.

Wow, really? Okay, so what is actually happening is the red eye destroys the railway gun if you don't shoot him soon enough. This happened to me several times on hard until I got the hang of it. Once you have all the spots shot out, immediately get out of the gun and rotate it to point straight back behind the train, when he opens his mouth, fire. Or if you're trying to move the gun towards his mouth, you may have to shoot a bit earlier so he doesn't completely destroy the gun. There's no way of knowing when this will happen except for how close he is to you. Even if you shoot the side of the inside of his mouth, he will still die. In each progressive difficulty, they give you less and less time for the "One More Hit".

Just aim the cannon backwards with one shell in it at the beginning, destroy the spots completely but make sure you pay attention to how many you have left. And yeah on extreme it seems like you have only ten seconds to do it so if you're not already in the cannon and ready to fire, then it's game over(happen to me twice in a row on extreme  , and once on normal cause some guy was clueless as to jump up and give me thermal, even though he was beside me)

You can actually fail the match really early if you don't use the railway gun at all, even if you keep repairing it. This happened to me on hard before.

Huh? You only really need to use it once. I've beaten it on all four difficulties by myself by simply shooting out the spots and finishing it off with one shot from the cannon. The repair option makes it impossible to fail by your train being destroyed. If you repair it then it can live on forever.
