Just wondering since he seems to stand apart from the other new nevecs. It seems like wayne might actually make an appearance in some form or fashion. Could he be working with nevec now? Maybe for some mysterious motif, who knows. Obviously this is all just speculation. I do hope they touch on luca and her brother though. Are they all dead 10 years later? It seems like they should at least be aware of the current civil conflict. I also wonder what happened with Joe...

that's actually a real good speculation. the january trailer even slowed down when that Ex-NEVEC turned around on the boat at the end of it, emphasizing his presence. And since the Ex-NEVEC is trying to stop the new NEVEC, it's possible. Buuut didn't Wayne lose his memory? I guess we'll find out May 18th

the thing is, i'm not sure which is which. Are ex-nevec the ones with the old school helmets, like the one above? Or are they the ones with the funny helmets.(the ones the clones are using.)

ok after watching the episode 4-5 trailer, i'm almost certain thats Wayne Holden
By the looks of things it seems that it is in fact the old school helmet guys that are EX nevec.
Also, listening to the voice when he says "I can't believe that went so smoothly", it sounds like the same voice actor. Another tip off is how you see the same ex-nevec soldier hop into the PTX (hardballer), a VS thats easily associated with Wayne and Gale as they've been the only characters seen piloting one, even if it was the 140A version. It also leaves room for them to team up with Task Force: First Decent, (The clones of Ivan Solatov.) since it's obvious their commander is hoping for their deaths. Naturally, i could be waaaaay off and wayne has nothing to do with this story. I can't help but wonder though.

One thing though. I think they had to pay to have Wayne's voice and appearence in-game. So if it's true you'll never see his face, as I don't think they bought the rights for his appearence again.
But hey, you never know!
I really do hope it's him. And Deaco, CONGARTS! YOU'RE A MOD!!

That's the great thing about the original Lost Planet. Capcom studied some famous literature and realized the epicness of creating an ambiguous ending. You could make a very strong argument for either side that Wayne lost his memory at the end of the game or he didn't. Who's right? Well as far as LP:EC goes, everyone is. It's what you want it to be. But as far as the franchise of the game goes, I guess we'll find out May 18th. If it is Wayne though (which I was always thinking in the back of my mind), how old would that make him? Because he was frozen in his VS for quite sometime before Yuri found him, which means he was already alot older than he looked. And then this game is 10 years from that point. And now my train of though is acting up. Why would they specifically say 10 years from the event of the last game instead of just saying it takes place a while after the first game?

that same character with that gear was in the PTX-40A in TvsC's ending it could be wayne and if it is that be awsome

....whoa i just thought of something. Now please take this with a grain of salt. The fact that Snow said that Wayne is "a dot in a snow storm", and the fact that the final episode obviously has snow in it, could it be possible that he shows his face then??? And for everyone who plays Capcom games knows that they tie characters into a sequel even when you're not playing them anymore (i.e. Devil May Cry 4 kinda) and the fact that Dead Rising is getting DLC staring the new guy(ok this one is kind of a reversed situation but you get my point). Then IF Wayne is in fact part of Ex-NEVEC I remember in one of the LP2 trailers it shows an Ex-NEVEC taking off his helmet and dropping it in the snow. I mean since the actual Snow Pirates(not mercenaries) are making a return, anything is possible
But like I said, take it with a grain of salt
