we asked Szymanski about the possibility of that game being brought over to the west, despite past statements to the contrary.


 


“Whether it’s E.X. Troopers or any other Japan-only games we do or even games we are considering doing, the best thing we can get is input,” Szymanski replied. “I don’t need an online petition. I just need people to go on the community sites, e-mail some of our community guys, and say these are the kinds of games we want to see.”

LOL. We`ve been doing it for 3 years with LP2. Nobody cares... We`ve been doing it for 5 years with LPC (cheaters) - nobody cares. Now they want us to belive that they care about our opinion and they want input ?

All I am going to say is, Capcom I bought a 3DS solely for Megaman Legends 3.... We all know what happened with that. At least give me Ex Troopers. I am not to big on LP but the 3DS needs more good games. I also got a PS3 but would prefer the 3DS version.

I support this localization--- but, to be honest, I wouldn't buy it no different than the upcoming Project Diva localization; already imported itTongue Out



The issue with E.X. Troopers is that the game is 100% playable even if you do not know Japanese. In fact, if you can read Katakana script, than the game is essentially in English, but just read with Japanese accent.


Great game; my absolute favorite from 2012, even more so than Project Diva: f, but whether or not it even needs to be localized I just dunno. Again, not only is it 100% playable without knowing Japanese, but it is also an extremely affordable import going between $30 and $40 dollars brand new. I know it sucks for the non-PS3 players who want this for their 3DS, but--- well, it is available on a system that doesn't sport primitive region-locking.

I'm just surprised this game has not made it to the west...what's the reason for Capcom not bring it to the West and other regions? It's such a shame we can't play here or in other regions. :(

It is *mind-bogglingly* stupid that this hasn't been localised.


But given Capcom's decisions lately, I can't say I'm surprised.
