Switch to Forum Live View Stuck in the Armory! Help!

Hello all,

I made it through the Armory. I activitated all 3 turruts and fought both rounds of ememy swarms. Now my quest says "return to the forgotten" and the reticule leads me to the door, but when I go up to it, nothing happens. I see the sparking box, but can't seem to interact with it at all.

I'm on the PS3, and have tried starting from the previous save, and even re-downloading and re-installing. I'm really enjoying the game, and would like to continue.

Any ideas?

A few things I can think of:

-First, confirm that the objective you currently ahve marked down is indeed the main quest, and not a sidequest.

-Try picking every item in the armory. In particular, try to pick the Pulse Rifle lying around the armory, even if you already got it at the power plant. Tecnically it's the weapon that the Forgotten were looking for.

-A Wardeye might be stuck somewhere, or is simply hiding, and needs to be killed in order to prompt the panel activation. Try looking around the area and listen for any surviving Wardeyes.

-I doubt it is the case, but you did kill both Genessas (Akrid spawn point), right? One is obligatory, but the other could be missable.

-Try DNA tagging the Albino Taarka on the armory.

I hope something of the above works for you.

Thank you so much for your reply!

-The objective is the main quest. It currently says "return to the forgotton." and "Done. Heading back to Mira's camp to let her know the armory is open for business."

-Try picking every item in the armory. In particular, try to pick the Pulse Rifle lying around the armory.

Got it. Nothing else seems pickup-able

I looked at everything, and nothing seems to be there or is making noise. Plus, when I restart and fighet the last battle, the same Wardeye wouldn't get stuck again, right?

-I doubt it is the case, but you did kill both Genessas (Akrid spawn point), right? One is obligatory, but the other could be missable.

I'm not sure. Are there two spawn points in the Armory final room? After a while the wardeyes just stopped comming. I just spent 20 minutes looking around for a spawn point to kill. Nothing even turned my target reticule red.

-Try DNA tagging the Albino Taarka on the armory.

Got it...

Urrgh! So frustrating. Thanks for all of your help.

At this point the only idea I can think of is entering the armory and immediately head to the exit, killing the enemies in the large room rather than the armory, with the hope that the mechanism that you need to repair do becomes useable at some point during or right at the end of the fight with the Wardeyes.

Thanks. I appreciate that you took the time to help. Seems I'm stuck half-way through. There's no way to start the level over, is there?

I don't think so, unless there's a way to have the central elevator to go back down.
