Somehow I forgot about this game (shame on me, I know!). I'm pretty interested in picking it up, and I'd like to buy New to show my support for the LP series---
But! How important was the online for this game? I figure it's gotta be pretty dead by now, and honestly I could shave off $20 by buying used. Just wondering if the single-player is really that great (as I've heard it is!), if only so I could justify letting loose those few extra bills.
BTW: E.X. Troopers is my favorite game on the PS3!!

Its slower than the other 2 LP games, however the story is much stronger. I am seriously enjoying the story this time around. As for the MP, I'm not sure as I've yet to play it.

The worst game in the series. PC version is horrible, can`t tell about console version, but i`ve heard it is little better. Multiplayer is a joke - nothing like old LP. And it`s probably dead now cause it was using GameSpy that was turned off in May (PC version) . Personally - LP3 is one of the worst games i`ve ever played.

GameSpy was removed for PC in favor of Steamworks. Achievements have not been turned on yet.
